Boxes filled with 65 pounds of M &M chocolate candies are on the way to troops of the 5th Ranger Training Battalion at Frank D. Camp Merrill in Dahlonega, GA.
Bus drivers of the Fayette County Public School System in Georgia donated the chocolate in the hopes of making the holidays a little brighter and sweeter for military personnel who will not be able to make it home for family gatherings and celebrations. This marks the seventh year the bus drivers have sent chocolate to troops stationed both in the United States and overseas.
“We are grateful for what these brave men and women are doing to protect our freedom and this is just a small token of our appreciation for their sacrifices,” says bus driver Linda Mosley who organizes the drive each year.
